Founded in 1805 during the reign of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan, Ram Asrey is India's oldest continuously operating royal sweetmaker (Mithai Ghar). Situated in the historic Banwali Gali of Chowk with modern branches in Hazratganj, Ram Asrey has served Nawabs, British dignitaries, Prime Ministers, and generations of royal connoisseurs with heirloom Awadhi confectionery.

Signature Specialties: The royal Malai Paan (also known as Malai Gilori) — an exquisite delicacy created on royal request where paper-thin clotted buffalo cream is folded into the shape of a betel leaf (paan), filled with crushed pistachios, almonds, saffron, and mishri, and finished with delicate pure silver vark. Other timeless classics include seasonal Kali Gajar Ka Halwa, Anjeer Barfi, Kaju Katli, Besan Laddoo, and delicate Motichoor Laddoos cooked in pure desi ghee.
